Into the Green

Journey — Taman Negara & Belum

Into the Green

5 Days / 4 Nights · Max 8 Guests · Rainforest & Wildlife

Misty green rainforest canopy at dawn in Taman Negara, Malaysia

Into the Greenroute no. 2

The Experience

One of the oldest rainforests on earth — older than the Amazon — walked with a guide whose family has lived alongside it for generations. This isn’t a wildlife-checklist trip: no captive animal encounters, no guaranteed sightings promised. Just slow immersion — canopy walkways at first light, night walks that teach you to listen before you look, and river days that end in a waterfall, not a gift shop.

why we chose this →

“Wan has walked this forest since he was seven. He notices things I still can’t see.”

— Mira, founder

Who It’s For

Travellers genuinely curious about ecosystems rather than ticking off animal sightings — and who don’t mind humidity, mud, and the occasional leech in exchange for something most tours can’t offer.

What You Might Take Home

A different relationship with silence. Most guests tell us the sixty seconds with the torches off changes how the rest of the trip — and often the rest of the year — sounds.

A Few Questions

Moderate — expect 2-4 hours of trail walking most days, at an unhurried pace.

We never guarantee sightings — this is wild forest, not a safari park — but Wan’s knowledge gives you the best possible chance.
